Here is a new tradition that I am starting. Today I started reading the book of Luke, in the Bible, I will read one chapter every day.
If you read one chapter every day, with 24 chapters, you will read the entire account of Jesus' life by Christmas Eve.
What's Christmas without the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? He is the true meaning behind the reason we celebrate this special day.
A breakdown of the Gospel of Luke:
Chapters 1-2 John the Baptist and Jesus are introduced.
Chapters 3 through the first part of 9 are about Jesus and his mission.
The last part of chapter 9 through most of chapter 19 is Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem.
The last part of chapter 19 through most of 24 is Jesus’ final week in Jerusalem before he was crucified and resurrected.
